SICOMET

85

SICOMET 85 is the standard cyanoacrylate adhesive for a wide variety of different materials, and is especially suitable for high strength metal bond. The curing time of SICOMET 85 allows positioning of bonded parts.

The low viscosity (20cps) of SICOMET 85 provides good flowing characteristics and permits thin bond lines. However, bridging of small tolerances is also possible to a certain degree. Bonds made with SICOMET 85 have good, long-lasting mechanical properties and a uniform bond strength pattern. The bonds also are resistant to many commonly used solvents and chemicals

SICOMET 99 is a normal curing adhesive.Its special feature is its high viscosity (2,000cps) which allows bridging of tolerances up to 0.2mm.Curing time is only slightly longer than that of the low viscosity SICOMET types. SICOMET 99 is especially suitable for bonding non-ferrous metals. 

In spite of slightly lower than normal tensile shear strength figures, bonds made with SICOMET 99 offer an improved impact and vibration resistance and good thermostablility.

SICOMET 7000 its normal-setting and good-flowing adhesive grade with good adhesive properties for metals.

Even if it is necessary to bond without automatic dosage equipment this product can be successfully applied.

SICOMET 

50

SICOMET 50 is a fast curing adhesive with low viscosity (30cps).It is the standard type for bonding plastics. SICOMET 50 offers a quick initial cure and results in age resistant bonds for plastic, to itself or to metal. The elasticity of SICOMET 50 makes it especially suitable for bonding materials, which have different elongation coefficients.The cured adhesive is resistant against climatic conditions. However, thermal resistance and solvent resistance are lightly below the normal level. Other advantages of SICOMET 50 include reduced surface polymerization around the bond area and less irritating odour than other cyanoacrylates.

SICOMET 8400 is a fast curing, medium viscosity (210cps) adhesive designed for elastomer bonds.  The slightly higher than normal viscosity allows some bridging of tolerances as well as bonding highly porous foam.  Due to its fast curing time SICOMET 8400 can also be used for plastic bonds.
